I just re-integrated my gmail account with my phone using the new gmail app. Well....I didn't delete my old email messages before I deleted my email account from my phone. The app install went great, but I have the "new message" indicator on my phone telling me I have unread messages - but they belong with the old email.....
How can I get rid of this? I've checked all folders, deleted everything and have done a battery pull.
I have absolutely no idea if this will work but can you readd your old email address so you can go back and delete the messages then delete the account from your phone again? Also have you tried deleting them on your pc? sorry if this is no help. Just throwing out some ideas since someone more knowledgeable didnt reply.
