the new face book update is out i guess. fixes the calender stuff. this is version 1.5.0.32

UPDATE: BBBoy brought it to my attention that this build may break more things than it fixes so you may want to hold off on installing it! Supposedly this latest version can screw up your calendar, make the icon dissapear, continue spamming your friends for phone number requests, may screw up your AIM connection, and just plain give you the finger… Great quality job on this one RIM but I guess it is better than a “shake the baby” app.
