I upgraded to the new facebook last week and I must say it is an improvement in user interface, however, since I have upgraded my battery consumption has more than doubled. My normal battery loss was about 4%/hour and according to meterberry, while I left it off the charger last night and did absolutely nothing, I lost 9.5%/hour. I have switched off the chat function and still see a large consumption. Does anyone else have this issue?

Couldn't this be an issue on any device? Post in the Native Apps section for better results.

Dunno. I posted in the other forum, though.

I have it on my Bold and I don't notice any difference between the new one and the beta.

Try this thread: Facebook 2.0 on Storm2

As for battery life, I haven't noticed much of a difference, but considering it forced me to battery pull at least twice a day, it's offset by any improvement from 1.9.

Don't have it automatically update the feeds and also turn off chat when you're not using it.
