I am at a loss at why my post is confusing. I am clearly talking about VibAndRing, which is the title of this thread, and I said I purchased it 4 weeks ago, and it works perfectly, and it vibs and rings. Oh well.
    No big deal.

i dunno if this has been discussed yet, but if you receive a call and the person hangs up before the time you set for it to vibrate (mine is at 20000) it will continue to vib until the 20 secs is up even if the call had ended at 10sec or 15 sec.

just tried, it will continue vibrating til it reaches the time limit. it stops when you view the missed call.

Do we have a ballpark date for the version 1.1?? I love this application and the idea of bursts would be great.

Hmmm.. You guys are all waiting till it pulses to buy it?

I realize it's a cool advantage, but the long vibe really does work fine for my needs.

For me, I wouldn't really make that a reason to delay buying an app with the needed function this provides.

it works fine i suppose like it does now, but it would be a lot better for me personally with the pulse/burst feature so it feels like a normal phones ring+vib. also would be nice to incorporate this into txt's and jivetalk.

It does work fine, he's already said once you buy it the updates are included, so why wait?
I wish he'd hurry the heck up so he can start on the Verizon gps unlock app.

I have no complaints with this app. It performs as advertised. The new version will be a welcomed upgrade though.

Addict in the making here...Just bought VibAndRing 1.0 no troubles installing it whatsoever.

Did anyone ever figure out a way to keep the phone from vibrating or ringing while in a "Quiet" profile. Would love to be able to just switch profiles to quiet and not have vibration or ring without having to disable the app.

Tried setting both out and in holster to None or Vibrate+Tone and neither of them kept the phone from vibrating for the set millisecond time and then being silent.

    Thanks and great app!

I'm thinking the program supercedes profile settings. I believe it will have to be turned off in the application when you want it off.

I had inquired about this app being set up to work with or be associated with "profile" settings. Unfortunately, Im told due to RIM design, it is not possible to associate this type of app with "profile" settings.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I thought might be the case.

    Still a great app though!
