So...I'm assuming from the above posts that to turn off the vib/ring, all you have to do is uncheck "Activate?" I know...I know...another dumb question....

    Not a dumb question.

Yes, unchecking ACTIVATE will turn off the vibrate software. And since you set your phone profile you are using to tone only, the phone will then just ring only since the vibrate software is turned off...

    Definitely happy with this program.

Thanks. I'm very happy with it too, especially the price! I was playing around again with the length of vibration. I set it to 7000....which is kind of long, but it does the trick, especially if I am in a restaurant (or most likely a bar) and I have the BB in my purse!!! I really like that I can set the length of the vib.

Not sure what to tell you really...

When you are on the software setup screen, bring up the menu and see if it will do a test vibration?

As always, maybe try a battery pull and reboot...

You may also wish to note the phone model as well, maybe the author will have some input.

9900.....that'll get your attention for sure!!!! Probably get everyone else's attention too. If you put that thing on the table and it vibrates for that long, it will probably dance right across the table and fall off!!!

Hmm, yeah, may have to alter that for nightstand duty tonight, haha...

May have to dial it down a bit. Only got a few phone calls today, mostly texts... Speaking of... Would be cool if this could do texts too.

Did you try the traditional battery pull thing? And does it do "test" vibrates?
    06-11-08 08:48 PM

Yep did the traditional battery pull and also "test" vibrate, neither seem to work. I dowloaded OTA originally, I have since deleted the app downloaded the zip file and installed thru the desktop manager... the results are the same.

Darn, sorry to hear that. Sounds like you've definitely done as much as I know to do.

Hopefully, the author will have some input. He's in Germany, so maybe he'll pop in overnight or early morn.

I have the 8830. Has anyone else here succesfully used this application on their Pearl??

Awesome app. Can't wait to see what else you could do with it. It can only get better, but is awesome just the way it is.

This was my number one complaint with the blackberry platform. Hopefully RIM buys a copy and learns. Lol
