Sorry about the double post but...sometimes I don't need it to vibrate (like when its out of my holster) and I just want it to ring.

Like when I am in church.

With your phone on take out your battery, wait 30 seconds and put back in.

I got one immediatly telling they verify to make sure your card is not stolen and if I didn't get another email in 15 minutes to reply to the 1st email with a phone number and someone would call. I got my second email about 30 minutes later.

I would look to see if the payment was processed and if not, try again.

This app is so worth it. I don't know why I waited so long to get it.

    Hey Fabian,

Everybody loves your applications. They are great. I know you just did a new one with the 'save number as.' But please don't forget this one. Let us know whether your are working on an update to hopefully fix the on going vibration.

Not to put pressure on Fabian or anything , but i am facing the same problem on my Bold. I didnt have an older version, bought the 1.1 yesterday.

The ring repeat is only after the vib burst. This is a problem because when the phone is not around me i sometimes miss the one ring and am missing calls.

I hope it gets fixed soon.

If you already own webmessenger messagealerts you can create a phone rule with vibe-only and "remind only if missed=no" for all calls as your first rule. Then it will vibrate simultaneously with your profile ringer set to ring-only and still process phone further rules down the list.

I just thought I'd throow that info out there in case someone is thinking of purchasing VaR and already has WMMA.

WMMA is very confusing, I have apps that makes it do all the others in there, I think wmma is best for those using thier phone for business etc.. the thing I preferred most about it, when I trialed it was the abillity to alert on low battery and memory. Other than that.. not for me. confusing, too many things..

"If I have it set to burst, and my ringtone is a short one that repeats itself, it will begin to vibrate for a second, then ring, and then continue vibrating. It will not repeat the ring. "

Same issue here, uninstalled and re-installed, no joy.

    Haven't experienced vibrating after answer.

Went back to an old version.
I can also confirm this happening to me, 8330 running 4.5 on Verizon. Instead of reverting I simply deactivated the software until a fix is found/released. Good to see I'm not the only one experiencing this.

I wish I could use the product I bought and it would actually work...

I think its fair that we get an update on the status of this app... is it still being worked on or is the development finished?

Yes I agree it would be "fair" to get an update for something that's not working properly. If the application was free with just donation I wouldn't be complaining. Or if the owner was too busy with school, I would also be more patient. But releasing new products and forgetting older ones is no good.

    Hello,
about the issue with VibAndRing if you have a short ringtone set:
I am working on an update and trying to find the bug behind that issue. I cannot yet say for sure when it will be done since there are some restrictions in the APIs I am trying to figure out.
In v1.0 of VibAndRing you can have a long, non-multiple burst vibration and then it continues to ring if you have a short ringtone set.

I will definitely continue with updating my applications. Currently I am working on a nice application for the Storm that I know many of you will like!

Sorry for any confusion caused by me not updating on the issue in this Thread.

    Regards,
    -Fabian

Thanks for the update. At least we know you're still alive .

But yeah, is there a way to get 1.0 in the meantime. I disabled mine a few weeks ago but I guess I wouldn't mind going back to 1.0 until it gets fixed.
