I downloaded this program for my Blackberry 8330 (Curve) today. When I loaded it onto my phone and tried to run the program, it gave me the error:

Error starting EasyButton: Class 'net.rim.device.api.ui.UiEngineInstance' not found

Anyone have any ideas on what to do?

andrew, this version only works with the storm, but based on popular demand, i started aversion for the curve/bold/pearl, and the good news is that i almost finished it tonight, so it should be done tomorrow.

The program currently only being operational on the Blackberry Storm makes PERFECT sense why it would not work for my Curve! LOL, guess I should have read the fine print. I can't wait for your program to update for the Curve. Thanks for all you do!

Bold user here, ready and way willing to test it out for you there! I downloaded the Storm-only version last night and the UI exception error put a frown on my face as I uninstalled it.

I tested it on the 8830 World Edition 4.5 OS and it cuts the sound off. I hear "That was ea" and it cuts off.

I downloaded and tested the easy button app for you. "That was easy!" came out "That was ea..."

I assume this is for the storm? If it's the version for Pearl/Curve/WE I can test it.

V1.05 works fine. Honestly - not sure what I'm looking for in comparison to V1.03 I previously had.

anyone else can test v1.05? it has a depressable button. you see it press. when you click the screen the button presses and it stays pressed till you let go of the screen.

Works great and yes the button stays pressed and you only hear the sound once. 109 is the BB version.

Not only does the button press (and stay in till you let go), but the sound is "snappier" too... 1.3 was a little slower to respond for me...
