just thought i'd post a little bug i found (if you wanna call it that)...

Under .151 the "portrait only" mode doesnt work. One of the reasons i purchased this app was for that specific setting . Otherwise, i love the app, and recommend it to all my friends who complain of the storm's terribly slow lock/unlock process.

Can't seem to reproduce this issue, and it seems to be working well for everyone else. I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the application.

Already there in the latest version If you look in the options near the bottom there is a backup and restore feature. The backup will store your options in an encrypted file in the location you choose. On first run after an install, or from the options screen, you can select this file again to restore from it.

Don't click the dots. Just run your fingers in a pattern over them without clicking the screen. The pattern starts when you touch the screen and continues until you lift your finger off the screen. You may reuse the same dot more than once.

I entered compatability mode with it on, and now the keyboard comes on everytime the lock does, even on start up. when this happens it disables the lock screen and i can't view the bottom half of the grid, or take the keyboard off. in fact, i'm locked out of my blackberry.

This is not an error. When you enable compatibility mode it makes the program run like it is on a blackberry without a touch screen. This is an easy fix though. Pull out your batter, hold down the escape key(on bottom of the storm you have three buttons, Talk, BBApp, Escape, End), put the battery back in while holding the escape key. Once it boots and you can see your screen then release the escape key and disable compatibility mode on patternlock.

Now that you have fixed this, I suggest you hop over to the app store and buy the full version. It's worth it. You can lock individual apps so even if someone finds your phone and you forgot to lock it, they still can't get in to see your porn pictures.

When I place my phone in my holster patternlock uses both portrait and landscape mode. But in my settings I have it set for portrait only. Does this happen to anyone else? This only happens when my phone is holstered.

I upgraded to 5.0 yesterday and didnt like it so i decided to downgrade to .151 and i loss all my 3rd party apps and im trying to get the app back but when i trie to download it from mobihand it gives me a error message saying ive already downloaded this software. any help?

I am running 5.0 and Patternlock works perfect for me. Not sure if anyone has had any problems but i just restored my data and everything is working like normal.

Do you have all your permissions set to allow? When you have to enter it twice, are you currently using an app that you have on the App Lock List (the apps that you lock so that they must put in the pattern to use)? I have had that issue where i was using my Options screen and put the phone down for a few. When i had to unlock the phone, it asked for the pattern again, because i was on the Options screen still, and that is a locked screen on my phone.

Only other thing i can say would be turn the Auto Lock on Start up off. Save it. Exit the options screen. Then go back in and turn it back on and save. Maybe even do a batt pull before or after. It could just be hosed up coding.

Not that i can find. You can lock Media in general. But specific folders i haven't found the option for. Like if you open a picture or music file, then open the options for patternlock, Media will be listed as a running app that you can lock.

Had my first issue with this o. 5.0 tonight ...got a error but I did a batt pull and all is well. I would say that this a must have app!

I have used this on my Storm and I will say that it is a good application. It does what it is advertised to do...nice protection because of the random choices available to use for locking the phone.

You should be able to go to the CrackBerry Store, login and go to the My Account page to see all the download links for your purchased applications.

Love this application...only downside was the multiple updates...but at least it was updated...seems to be pretty stable now
