When you're on a page you want to prevent just click the menu key and go to Disable AutoRotation

This is a nice small app! I to was looking for the icon, i thought it was hidden in one of my folders or something.

I just bought it and it works perfectly for me.

I personally like picking between landscape / portrait so this app is kind of useless to me. I like to support BB developers though. If you don't like how it rotates though this is a must buy.

I'm the same way. I love being able to select between the two, but it's really nice just toggling it from not rotating via the menu key!

It doesn’t work for Viigo.

I like the app but I really don’t know what else I would use it for. I just want to stop the home screen from turning but I don’t know if I would pay 3 bucks definitely not 10 to make that happen.

This is a cool app...for the browser I always prefer landscape - looks like I will be putting down $2.99

While it would be great if RIM included this and other things in the OS, my preference is for them to work on making a stable OS as a first step and leave these things to 3rd party developers. As the OS matures they can bring in these nice to haves.

I bought the app but am a little disappointed that the settings don't remain after a reset.....this should be a priority fix....otherwise, it seems to be preventing the call screen from rotating when receiving a call which is the main reason i purchased.
Did anyone have to enter an activation code? I don't think i got one......

This is perfect to disable the damn phone from auto-rotating when I'm typing in Suretype and I inadvertently get it at just the wrong angle and it throws me off. If it works in SMS/Email area of course.

Excellent app! Another app that we the consumers have been waiting for and one that should have been standard with the OS.

I also like how this app doesn't add another unnecessary icon and can be enabled from the BB menu.
