i wonder what the difference is between some of us that have Jan 1 and others that have Feb 1. when i first got this app, i think it was Dec 31 or something and i remember having this same issue, it only posted the 1.

Nice, but why would you want to have the date on your home page TWICE?

I swear I didn't know everyone else was working on the same thing when I created this app. I've had it created a for a while now I just never released it.

What does it do?
This app will display the date and month on the calendar icon. At a quick glance you can see what the date is without having to search for it.

This application has a real small memory footprint at only 7.7kb

Reset worked for me as well. However, we shouldn't have to do this.

Stop complaining everyone. First the issue will be fixed with a battery pull. Second, half of you guys got this app free by DMG's generosity anyways.. So everyone stop ********, wait patiently for an update or just delete the app?

Kimijok is right. Lay the torches and ropes down and stop looking for the tallest tree to hang dmg from... He's fixed it before and I'm sure he will again. Its not like it wasn't fixed itself after 24 hours and a battery pull... For God's sake! Its not like everything is always perfect the first time around... Look at how many times your OS has had to have been fixed, and how many fixes that we haven't even seen because of the problems with them. This guy is trying to develop apps to help RIM look better and work better essentially and shouldn't be flamed for something as minor as this is.... Its not like it has ruined everything about your blackberry... Everyone just chill a bit. Sorry about the rant...

I shouldn't have to pull the battery to fix the app, it should work as advertised. Second I payed for this app. Third I've been waiting for a month for this update. It will not change if the phone is off before midnight and also pulling the batt shouldn't be a requirement.

That is completely beside the point. It's attitudes like yours that allow developers to make shoddy products (not saying this one is). The fact is the app does not work properly when it's the 31st of any month and this issue needs to be addressed.
