    Man I feel like I should be getting paid or at least get a discount on another one of your apps...lol

    OK so here is what I have found.

    Settings 1:


    Now if I could add one request (not sure if it's possible)...disable the blocked caller from showing up under the missed calls AND showing the notification of a missed call.


    Other than that I believe it's perfect. Others might have to play around with the delay settings but the above is what worked for me.

    as for the missed call log i dont think i can do anything because when buzz blocks the call the Phone app thinks the caller had hung up.

    I've been using BuzzOff since it was 1st released and have had some issues but the most prominent one for me is that the app doesn't block at all when I have anything other than the homescreen open on my device. I've been using 1.2 and am just now installing 1.2.2 hoping this issue is fixed.

    Half the time the calls that are supposed to be blocked are instead connected when I have anything open on my BB.

    I've been using BuzzOff since it was 1st released and have had some issues but the most prominent one for me is that the app doesn't block at all when I have anything other than the homescreen open on my device. I've been using 1.2 and am just now installing 1.2.2 hoping this issue is fixed.

    after you installed the beta goto the prefs in buzz and set the block and hangup delays to 800ms or 1 sec

    Yeah I noticed if you decide to set the permission during the install procedure it won't stick. You have to go back into your app listing and edit the permissions and change them to "allow" after you have installed/rebooted your device.

    The blocker not working happens when those aren't setup properly.

    I applied the same setting as XPerties posted but not with the same results.

    Call
    1. Rang about a sec went to vm
    2. Same
    3. Worked as should no ring Hung up
    4. Rang/vm
    5. No ring but still vm
    6. No ring hung up

    So no idea why the random results. Could it be BerryBuzz causing a conflict as it is listening for incoming calls for the LED/Vibrate and Ring feature?

    Did you changed the pickup and hangup delay and then test the call a few times, then edit the delay again and test etc etc?

    Also have you confirmed the permissions are "all" set to "allow"? Not having them all set to allow gave me crazy results like the ones you are getting.

    Running the latest beta version? 1.2.2?

    Here is the latest beta

    1 install ota http://www.toysoft.ca/beta/BuzzOff.jad

    2 Reset all permissions to allow in the Options->advanced->application app for buzzoff after install

    changes
    ---------

    - added save incoming calls to the call log. You need to turn on call log in the Preferences. to view logfile goto the BuzzOff menu.

    There you can call and block callers from the logfile.

    recommend that you clear the logfile regularly as it will get big. the logfile is saved on the Sd Card in the Blackberry folder. if you dont have a sd then look in main memory in the Blackberry folder also

    I've tested several configurations, mostly while the device was locked, or while sitting at the home screen. I also receive random results. I am NOT using BerryBuzz. To me it seems like the delay feature sometimes not accurate?

    Is there any word on the 1/2 sec ring issue? Sometimes it rings, other times its entirely silent I noticed. Tested about 30-40 calls from another line to find good delay settings but nothing 100% accurate yet! (Rings, or sends to VM instead of picking up and hanging up!)

    So far this has been the best call blocking app and would definately like to keep it. Works much better than Call Block Professional for me. Smiley88 keep up the good work!

    Your right, it shouldn't show it if its PU/HU enabled, but check if its sending them to voicemail. I have a few issues where its set to do one thing but always sends to voicemail, i've tried messing with the delay times as well. Do you have another line to test from?

    So if Im on a call and a blocked call comes in it auto hangs up on my current call and leaves me saying "uhhh hi" to my blocked call.

    Can this be fixed ASAP? If not I have to dump this app and find one that does work. Maybe an ignore while on the phone check box.

    I have the exact same issue with BuzzOff, except my options are set to pickup and hangup and it does pickup but hangs up on both my calls. Very frustrating because no matter what option you select, you either talk to the blocked caller or lose the call your already on.

    I purchased buzzoff and I would first like to say the app is great and for the most part blocks a call before it gets to ring but I noticed a few bugs I would like to bring to attention:
    
    1) Contacts with multiple number entries get an extra digit prefixed to the number. e.g. A caller with a work number as 123-555-555 and a mobile number as 123-666-666 will often show up as 1123-555-555 and 2123-666-666 and so forth, but does not display this way on the phone application only on buzzoff.
    
    2) When a call comes in on call waiting and is set to pick up and hang up, it will answer the call then hang up, ending both calls. Definitely a major inconvenience!
    
    3) Occasionally the app will send to voice mail when set to pickup and hang up, I think it may have something to do with the delay settings oddly enough.

    I received a response asking for extra details on bug #1 but nothing else. Still awaiting a response. I'm really hoping this is fixed, the bug is definitely a big one in my opinion (and other users as well apparently) and should be worked out if possible.

    I believe I do have the latest version, its v.1.3.1 and the bug appears in the call log, not when blocking from the contact list (that works nicely, allowing you to select individual numbers).
    
    Just curious, Is there anyway where the call log will display blocked calls only? It logs every single call and becomes a task to go in and wipe it every day or two.

    you can goto the prefs in buzzoff and adjust the delay.  try 100ms and see if calls are being blocked.
    if not then select a higher number eg: 300ms

    The calls are being blocked fine, I checked from separate lines, even with trying different delay settings sometimes it will send the call to voicemail (end call input) instead of picking up and hanging up (accept call input, delay, end call input).

    Thats about all the communication I've had with them 3 days ago when they emailed me back. Hopefully they are working on something.

    Smiley88 can you give us any details on if this is being worked on or looked into?
