Note: If you have the Storm you need to Disable Compatibility mode in the Options->Advanced Options->Applications application for BatterInfo.
To disable the Storm clock showing when charging run the Clock app and select Options from the menu, set When Charging: popup to Do Nothing.
BatteryInfo will display the current battery percentage charged, battery temperature, date and time, estimated charge time, visual battery graphic and optionally custom wallpaper whenever you plug the BlackBerry into the charger.
If you use USB charger then wallpaper will not work since access to the SDCard or internal memory is not allowed when Mass Storage is enabled.
Nice app.....I wish it had a bigger clock as I normally use mine as a clock at night while charging. Also wish the screen didn't go blank after a while...kind of defeats the purpose of the application.
A little bit of tweeking and this would be an awesome app.
UPDATE: After doing a battery pull the screen stays on.

ok. we can add a clock in the next release instead of the battery icon.
Had to uninstall. Bedside mode kept going bright and dim, in cycles. I know how it says this can be avoided, but the OEM clock is just perfect as a clock. If it's on the charger...I know it's charging. Like StormStat, if I want to see phone statistics, I will open the application.

Smiley, couple of suggestions....seeing as most people will probably charge in the docking pod, put the battery icon vertical and then the clock next to it or one on top of the other. As stated earlier, maybe even give the user a chioce between icon, clock or both.....maybe even toggle every minute or so between the two. Also, if it's not that hard, look into a dimmer display (bedside mode).
Thanx for the app....I am and will continue to use it.
Sorry for this post, but I'm having difficulties getting a picture as background. Is there a particular file it needs to originate from?
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
Well it looks like it displays a whole file and rotates through them. So you can set up a file you would like and copy pics into it and then set that file as the background.

Smiley should pop in in a min if iam wrong.
correct except when you run the app without charging then the pictures are not rotated. it will does if you have the bb in the charger.
also if you charge via USB then pictures will not be displayed because apps can not access the sd card or internal memory while the Mass Storage feature is enabled. you can disable this in the Options app.
I was wondering if you would be able to have like a "bedtime mode". I use a craddle so it faces my bed at night. Just somthing to dim down the back light so its not s bright. Thanks alot.
