Tried loading BBweather and it says "Error: no weather profiles specified....

You need to go into the Options and add a profile... I used my zip code and it recognized it.

You can just go to any web site from your BB if you want to figure out the weather CNN and Weather.com are both great.

Try the following out of the thread I linked:

Setup is not intuitive when you start up... Menu > Options and then while on Current Profiles: Empty click on the Menu > Add... Location ID: put in the postal code and Description: the name of location.

This is why I use weathereye, much easier. But not sure about heat index data. Lo Siento.
