I'm in the process of writing my first useful/test Blackberry application to basically get familiar with the API, and determine what I have to do to get it to run on various models of Blackberry.
I have a couple of cool applications in mind, but want to work out some issues on supporting various handsets with a test application first.
So, I'd like to find a couple of brave souls who would like to do some alpha testing for me. Basically, I would like to find one person for each Curve model, one for each Pearl model, and one for each 8800 serier model.
The "test" application is a simple "tip calculator", but useful, and will be used as a testbed for me. It will be released for free later to the general public, as there are a few of these floating around.
Anyway, if you are interested, post a reply here with the model of phone you will be using. The first to post here with that model will be the tester for that model. You must know how to install an application with Desktop Manager, as I do not yet have the ability to provide an OTA download.
Finally, as a special reward for assisting me in learning the API, and giving me feedback on functionality of the application, you will be first to be invited to beta test the real applications developed in the coming months, and get a free copy of the first payware application (which is going to be a game btw).
FYI, I'm still probably a week or so away from having something to test.
