I recently got an update, or something, into my Curve 8530. Dont know if it came from Blackberry or from my service provider Cellular South. I got an icon to directly text Cell South tech support (very cool and useful) but I also got an app called Thumbplay Music. I can't remove this app. If I highlight it or open it, there is no option to delete. Any suggestions? Thanks.

its not an actually app, its a shortcut. You will not be able to delete, just hide and forget about it

If you delete it, it will keep coming back as it is part of your service books. I made a folder called crap, stuck all that kind of stuff in it, and set it to hide.

Carriers push this stuff out from time to time. The file is miniscule, and, as suggested, hiding it in a folder is an easy way to keep it out of mind.
