So I tried battery pull and logging out but everytime I log back in there's a new message icon and I don't have any new messgaes...its been almost a week with this happening, anybpdy know why?

I used to have this problem on my 8830. All I had to do was go to the message tab on the myspace app, click "refresh", and then the phone realized there weren't any new messages. It's like the phone/app doesn't recognize when you've read a message, it only knows, when you specifically refresh it, whether or not there are any unread messages.
