I have 2 either Facebook or Myspace message icons on my Curve....problem is I have checked Facebook and Myspace and there are no new messages. I've had these on there for awhile and it's really getting annoying.

I've checked all icons for any messages that are unopened and no luck.

Anyone with the same issues?

It may be a BBM message too.. did you try that..

if not, try a battey pull.

Perhaps, log into myspace/facebook from a computer and check all messages

yes reset the device, i find that it helps if the bb is being stupid and icons are leftover.

did battery pull, logged into both accounts and no messages that are not already read. Any other ideas???

If you can determine which messages they are, maybe uninstall that app, and start over

I had a "stuck" message icon/red blinking light from MySpace on my main screen and what it turned out to be was an old unread message that was still in my inbox. Once I scrolled through and opened it, that pesky icon went away.

Although, it seems now that my MySpace app no longer pulls down new messages as the come in. But I guess that is a problem from another thread.

Figured it out! I thought since I used my laptop to delete all my myspace messages it should of worked...but then I logged on to myspace from my phone and deleted and now the message icons are gone! Yea!
