i've read some posts and haven't found one quit like mine. My blackberry pearl 8130 turns off and then back on. But its not the phone because it didn't do it when it wasn't on my contract and everytime i take it off the thing works fine its quit annoying. But it will turn on sometimes and stay on for 5-10 mins or a few hours before it starts restarting and stuff, ive tryed the whole reinstalling the OS didn't work, any ideas??

It could be an issue with the hardware. Do you have insurance?

Your battery could be coming loose, causing power contact to be broken/re-established. You could try putting a piece of a business card behind the battery door to keep it from moving.

the insurance has run out its over a year old.

If you have a memory card, try running the phone without it for a while. If that
corrects the problem, put it back and if the problem returns copy everything from
the card to your computer and reformat the card.

That has worked for me on two (2) occasions.
