Mine are
1. BBM (Only because this is the MAIN source of communications with the future Mrs Wolfman! Never try to have a long distance relationship without BBM!!!)
2. Facebook (Yeah, now that it's on 1.8 and I deleted that stupid Cache folder, its faster than any other program on my BB!!)
3. Bolt Browser
4. FourSquare
5. UberTwitter
6. Google Maps
7. Color ID (Free - just for the Futer Mrs to have her on color pattern on the LED)
8. BBWeather
9. CacheSense
10. BIM Active
11. Sudoku, Pixelated & Number Cruncher
12. I'm including QuickLaunch here, but, I doubt it will stay on the list very long. The App is great, my problem is with NikkiSoft's support, and how they just dismissed a paying customer telling me to talk to the App World Admins. I can't update to 3.0 without paying full price again because I had to wipe my phone. NikkiSoft Support just blew me off saying it's not their problem. Not a way to keep customers.
I haven't been using BBM a lot. My boyfriend and I are long distance when I'm at college but he uses Android, not BB, so we text like there's no tomorrow, haha.

Quicklaunch
Google Maps
Bolt Browser (will keep until I get OS6)
Facebook (finally bit the bullet and downloaded it)
Poynt
FIOS Remote DVR app (KILLER if you have Fios TV w/DVR)
BerryWeather
iHeartRadio
ScoreMobile
Navita Translator
Dictionary and Thesaurus
TellMeTheTime
Ticketmaster app
After owning several iPhones and messing with the Droid, I must say the apps on the Blackberry kinda suck! My faves though are Dictionary, SocialScope, BBM (ofcourse) and ZonaSnap.

You might be surprised, there could very well be a BB substitute for what you seek that you're simply not aware of, due to limited experience. Give it a try, there are some pretty knowledgeable folk in here whom, I'm sure, would gladly be willing to Poynt you in the right direction.
Don't know if anybody else does this, but I have both Pandora and Slacker. I like Pandora better in general, but Slacker has comedy channels that I enjoy and can't get elsewhere, so... both it is for me.
I love translation apps, have the Google version on my Android, but with Google it provides the translation in native language/alphabet sought and the pronunciation of it in your own designated tongue, but with Navita I was only able to get the foreign words in the foreign alphabet, which is no help if you can't read it! I went through all the settings/options, numerous times, and came up dry each. Is this something I failed to find because of my impatience, or is this app not absolutely worthless unless you can read and speak the languages you seek, and in such a case, doesn't that render it rather useless?

Have to chime in here. NikkiSoft (aka CheetahAce on the forums) are great to deal with (usually) but he has had nothing but problems dealing with BlackBerry App World and discounts for upgraders, amongst other things, so try not to judge him too harshly. This is the main reason I won't buy anything on App World

I still have both but after upgrading to Slacker Plus I havent opened Pandora. I love the unlimited skips and the station caching saves songs of battery life not to mention makes song skipping during playback non-existant.
Media Player (for podcasts)
Viigo
Bolt
Personal Assistant
Bejive IM
Slacker Radio
Google Maps
Twitter for BlackBerry
Goal.com mobile reader (wish they had a NFL or College Football one)
Google Maps
Facebook
ScoreMobile and ScoreMobile FC
Flixster
Opera Mini
Poynt.

New guy here, great list. Are all browser's about the same? I haven't settled on one yet. Does anyone use Foxfire? Is there a thread on: I downloaded WeatherEye, is there a way to get an icon on the main screen that shows the temp., etc. so I don't have to go to a folder to check the weather?

Select the app within Downloads. BB Menu > Move, select Home.

Hi Jim
I prefer the native browser, but you could try Opera or Bolt.
Foxfire? I don't believe there is a Firefox browser for BB
Either use a 3rd party theme with a weather slot and put WeatherEye in that slot, do as Rootbrian suggested above, or download BerryWeather
Opera5
BBM
FB
Poynt
Wetherbug
Scoremobile
Color I'd
Slacker or Pandora
Yahoo IM
Hangman for my main time waster, lol!
Smarttberry
Yesterberry
Google maps or BB maps, use both...
Have more, but these I use mostly.
