This may be the wrong spot for this, but as far as I can tell there is no way to do this with the stock OS.
I'm looking for a way to mute the speaker on my phone while playing music just incase the headphone jack gets yanked out (I don't want my music to start blaring through the device speaker).
Running 5.0.0.509 on an 8900. Any tips/leads would be greatly appreciated!

Really isn't anyone who knows if there is an app or if this is even possible?
Switching between handset and speaker saves volume levels for each separately, but the headset shares the volume level of the speaker. I'd think it would be independent of speaker or handset volumes.
