okay well, my windows live messenger app is being weird, because it doesn't show display names of my contacts, but rather their emails instead.
sometimes when people change their name, i can see the change, but if i refresh my contact list, it goes back to emails again.
somebody please help?

do a battery pull

and do a fresh re-install

are you doing a fresh install from the same source? maybe the source file is a little "messed"

I've got this problem as well, I thought I'd accidentally changed a setting but if I have I can't find it!
