Newb here looking for the best MUST HAVE apps for a BB Tour. I currently have:
Telenav
Yelp
Bloomberg Mobile
Google Maps
All very good and have their own niche. What is needed for you to function and you can't live without now that you have it? Appreciate any responses.
Right now I'm a student so calendar functions and priorities are an essential function for my life.
I was kinda looking for a app where I can take a picture of a document and have it convert it to a pdf w/ OCR. It'd be awesome if there was an app that can do this.
I put on ShortcutMe and Beyond160. Thanks for the recommendations. Had issues with google sync. Synced all my contacts fine but my calendar items all showed up for All Day even though they were just a section. I ditched that.
BerryBuzz extends your default Blackberry alert system. BerryBuzz allows you to customize the LED color and create repeating audible reminders for many alert types.
It will repeat alerts until acknowledged so you will never miss an alert again.
AND
If you have Netflix, you may like:
Movela Netflix Queue Manager is a mobile Netflix companion for your BlackBerry. The application allows Netflix subscribers to search the full Netflix movie library, browse popular Netflix categories and lists, manage your DVD and instant queues, and keep up to date with entertainment and movie news from some of today's most relevant sources.
Purchase via BlackBerry App World!

I love Pandora - Music, Viigo - News, RSS, Info etc., Quickpull Lite - Easy Battery Pullage, WeatherBug - Weather *duh*, and Opera Mini as a secondary web browser.
I must have only what I need. I don't give a flying ...... about anyones elses need. If you use it, cool. If I don't need it, you can still use it. There's plenty of options. No ones gonna say "Hey, if you don't have this app on your phone, you're gonna be a blackberry loser". And I have no clue where to find the app you asked about.

If you're a student (preferably college), I would highly recommend StudentDocket. You can still get it for 50% off from the CrackBerry app store, so if you like to keep track of assignments, then I would definitely jump on it. At the start of this semester, I spent about an hour inputting all my syllabuses into my berry and now I just open up SD for anything school-related. Very useful! Other recommend apps include:
-BerryWeather
-BerryBuzz
-Quicklaunch
-Gmail app
-Opera Mini 5
Slicktasks pro for tasks, I think it is the simplest but most useful task program. My only complaint was the backup system but developer just updated with import/export backup so I am set. Yeah honestly I think Slicktasks is just as effective as StudentDocket if youare on a budget. did the same thing put syllabuses in and I am off.
Rest would be
Viigo,
Maratick,
BBweather others use Berryweather
Iheartradio is cool
My new favorite App Hippopost
Here are mine:
-BlackBerry App World (kind of a no-brainer, but maybe a newb will miss it)
-Personal Assistant by Pageonce (from AW) - track up to 5 accounts for free, whether banking, loyalty programs, etc
-WeatherEye (from AW)
-QuickPull Lite (from AW)
-Qsms (from berrycoder.com ) - adds a keyboard shortcut for a new SMS if Homescreen dialing is off, or icon opens a new SMS too
-iTookThisFromMyPhone (from AW) - multiple easy options from uploading pics
-Navita Translator (search CB for link)
-CB Launcher
All these are free!
