I have a curve 8330 & I recently downloaded MobiReader. It seems to always be running in the background & draining my battery. Any ideas? Is there a better reader I could use? Thanks for the help, you guys are awsome!!!

I have an 8320, and I also see that the MobiReader always seems to be loaded in the background. I have not found out why, but have decided to live with it.
I will watch this thread to see if anyone knows more.
MobiReader starts itself every time you reboot your bb. If you open the app and then press shift Q it shuts it down until you open it again or reboot. Hope this helps.

It does have to be running if you want to sync with the desktop software though, so keep that in mind when you have it shut down using the Shift+Q method.
