I've got a Blackberry Bold 9700 and for some reason mini-opera won't recognize the trakpad, which means I can't shut it down. Is there any way to "kill" an application that's running when you can't go into the app itself and shut it down? Also, has anyone else had this problem with mini opera? I've been searching for over an hour and can't find anything. Any help would be appreciated!

To answer your question more specifically, you could kill applications using the BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife program (for your computer, not for the phone) or BBSAK for short. Of course, this means you have to be at your computer with a USB cable for this to work. Very handy program though.

I had that issue on my 9700, too. Battery pull as the solution is unacceptable to me. My solution was to delete Opera and continue using a combo of BB native browser and Bolt. I am always in search of a MUCH better browsing experience and on a Blackberry I am beginning to think that search is futile.
