Seems to be working fine on my 8330m. Only thing I noticed when I clicked on US news and world news I get nothing, just a blank screen with a header saying US news or world news. Everything else seems to work though. I might consider getting rid of google maps for this.
Bing has released 4 more BB devices this morning. Known as HighRes release for us, we are proud that BB 8900, 9000, 9600 and 9700 are supported now for all US operators.

For Sprint, we have a known issue that News don't work. We are working to fix that. State/Local news still works.
I've tried it twice and both time it ends up hanging my BB8900 (4.6.1.310) with the black and white error screen and the "reload software 552" error message. I have to use DM to uninstall it to bring my BB back to life.

same here, it got the dreaded 552 Software Reload Error as well trying to download this crap. pisses me off! why cant RIM fix this problem?
Downloaded and installed it and my phone locked up when it began to configure. Re-booted the phone and nothing happens when I try to run it.
It didn't lock up my Bold running first 5.0.0.314, now 5.0.0.411, but nothing happens when I try to run the program. No crash, no hang...nothing at all. Disappointing, because I like the app when it worked, which was before it was officially Bing.
Just installed Bing on my Tour. HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!!
Wow...I had no problems at all getting GPS to work just about anywhere on my old 8900, but on the Tour I could never get a satellite. I had to be out in a field, 30-40 feet from any large structure, and I couldn't even hold my hand over the device or it wouldn't lock on.
Not with Bing.
I installed it, and it immediately locked on to my GPS location within seconds FROM INSIDE A THREE STORY BUILDING!
Now I'm a believer! I was afraid that maybe they just designed the Tour with a crappy GPS radio, but the real problem is that Google is falling behind. Thanks, Bing!!!
Oh and PS--Bing locks on immediately, and Google Maps is still "Waiting for GPS!"
