I did a reset from MeterBerry and my battery life went from 23% to 16%.
Is anyone having any issues with their battery draining this much from a batter pull or is it the initial OS boot?
OS boot can take a great deal of battery life. This was very common on the storm 1. Now with the newer OS though, i have only seen maybe 1-2% normally on a reboot
The amount of battery drainage seems to also correlate with the level of the battery when the reset is initiated.
When my battery is more fully changed, a device reset *seems* to reduce the battery by a lesser percentage than when it's somewhat drained. This observation is most likely due more to how charge levels are measured (and how accurate those measurements actually are) than how much power a reset actually uses though.
The OP said he has 23% when the reset was initiated. I wouldn't expect to have any battery life left after that process finished! I don't like to reset my device with my battery lower than 60% if I know I won't be able to charge it any time soon!
