    Hello,
Sorry if i'm starting a new one that already exists.

I know that mapping apps use data but is there a way to download the whole version of Google maps or any other program that will allow you to just use the program rather than downloading it every time you load an area, like you would on a PC? I know it would eat all your memory but couldn't it be loaded onto a memory card?

I'm just trying to cut down data and not go to unlimited data plan. With my car GPS I can load the whole software onto the card so there must be a way somehow.

Sorry, but there are no such things are full downloadable map databases for blackberry. And just think of the reason: those maps would cramp the memory so bad the device would not be worthy much.

Even on the PC, Google Maps downloads the area of interest and only that. I understand your need to keep data use low, but there is no solution for what you're looking for right now.
