Any good free GPS app for the 9790? Waze doesn't work, BB maps won't install.

    thank you.

Isn't BB Maps baked in to the OS in legacy devices?

See there's nothing in my device. There are the options for maps, but the app itself is not found. I also can't download it.

I did see it on another 9790, just not on mine.. how is it possible?

Try doing a send service books, go to the set up icon sign on to your email press the BB or BlackBerry button, then service books then send service books.

Thank you, what is the purpose of sending the service books? I did it and got an activation successful email from all my mailboxes, and that's it.

The reason I suggested that, is sometimes BBRY and the Carriers will supply preloaded apps via a service book, and sometimes when you lose the icon, or the app, sending service books can restore it.
