Does Anyone Know if there is an app I can download that will alert me when my favorite football team has scored or been scored upon? Similar to like a ESPN application on the Iphone or something like that?

Verizon has text alerts for this also that you can sign up for on their website

You might check out ScoreMobile. It does not send you alerts but it keeps you up to date on all the games that are being played along with point spreads, injury reports.

ESPN alerts have become flaky recently...
