What I did was DL Headline Hawk Pro from Rex Wireless, which allows you to schedule 10 feeds that get sent to your bb email at your pre determined times. Then, deleted the app.

I really like Viigo but always end up deleting it after a new try on the bb. I'm pretty app haeavy and Viigo sucks memory better than, well, fill in your own porn joke here.

I'm going to be releasing a simple rss feed reader / podcast downloader application by the end of next week with the features you're describing.

I downloaded viigo a week ago then downloaded the update. I don't seem to be getting any new feeds and when I try to add any preferences to it I get something about verifying through email. I was wondering if they are having issues with their site. Also now have 2 icons on my bb from the download.

Downoad FreeRange. Its simple, easy and allows a vib or ring anytime an update to a channel pulls a new story. (To set the vib or ring, go to settings -> downloads and then scroll)

Better than Viigo IMO. Viigo does take up a lot of memory.

I gave up on finding a decent rss reader and instead use twitter. Every rss feed that I wanted also pushed the same updates via twitter.

I use google reader.don't have a direct link to the reader itself but go to google to read it. I also have a kfourtogo app that takes me to the channel 4 website for oklahoma. Very good local mobile site for us okies.

+1 for google reader, why download the articles to your BB? View them online

Facebook (app) is a little easier to navigate than going to the mobile site IMO, but Viigo does nothing to make your articles easier to read, just lags and depletes all of your memory. Have you tried Google reader on the BB? To me it is much more efficient than constantly downloading articles to your BB, but then again, I subscribe to LOTS of RSS feeds, some of which post dozens of articles per day, so maybe that is why I have such a hard time with Viigo.

I have also found that many (if not most) of the RSS feeds I subscribe to also post to twitter whenever a new article is published, and using UberTwitter, I see them all anyway and can choose to read the full article if I want.....
