Okay, I just bought this so I could obviously get the different LED colors and got it activated but I wonder, does this need to be one of the programs that has to run constantly because when I go to close it, it has an option to Terminate verses just closing the app.

You could always just try BerryBuzz if you wanna change your LED. I use it and it works very well...especially with the Vib&Ring feature built in.

already had VibandRing app so that is why i got LED. I guess I could see if BerryBuzz works in all the functions and just go down to 1 app

BerryBuzz does the LED stuff and the Vib&Ring function. Its 2 apps in one pretty much. There's a 7 day trial as well.

i may have to go to that as i'm thinking this is sucking the life out of my battery now. does berrybuzz have to run in the background like LED?

No Berrybuzz is under the Options menu.

It doesn't run in the background. It's a good app.
