I'd there an app I can get which will make my LED blink fast (same as when video recorder is active) when I have a missed call?.

Apologies if this one has been asked previously.

    Thanks

Blink - has different blink rates. I think "Thunder" is the one that blinks fast - $4.00

With Blink, you can easily change your LED lights as you want.

    * Customize the colors of your Contacts.
    * for 30+ alerts you can customize.
    * with 10+ vivid colors, including Disco and Circle.
    * with 10+ different speeds, including Heartbeat, Pulse, Thunder and Flight.
    * Multi-Alerts system, shine alternate colors for multiple alerts.
    * Backup options to SD card for easy transfer and recovery.
Advanced OS and LED - I don't have experience with this one but it is FREE

    --- LED Features ---
    - Effects: Fade/Mix or Blink LED light colors.
    - Color Picker: More than 100 colors and shades available using a color picker, up to 4 colors per contact or app and 14 effects per color.
    - Multi-Colors: create your own disco lights up to 12 colors.
    - Caller ID: Unlimited contacts including unlimited BBM contacts.
    - Night Profile: schedule what LED Lights you want to auto disable or lower color brightness at night.
    - Customize the LED of any App.

Yes Advance OS and LED does allow u to set up a LED alert for missed calls as well. It also has many other great features.
It has a blink or mix timing between 0-3 seconds rate with many choices in between and he has added up to 5 seconds in a upcoming update. The develop also keeps this app free with no ads. Here's the link to it.

I personally recommend Advance LED and OS. It's free, it's got lots of features and LED settings and I even uninstalled BeBuzz that I bought right after buying my first BlackBerry and have been recommending ever since, so that definitely means something. Just give it a try, it's free so if you don't like it, you can still uninstall and go for another app without losing a penny, can't say that about BeBuzz. By the way another thing that used to annoy me on BeBuzz was, that they wanted you to pay for big updates. I like to buy quality apps, but I'm definitely not paying twice for one item...

I started with AlertMatrix, then went to BerryBuzz (and SmartAlerts), then to Advance OS and LED. I tried a few others along the way - Blink and a few more - but nothing compares to Advance OS and LED. It fits very well, and allowed me to delete plenty of third party apps (several paid).

    Makes two of us.

I swore by BeBuzz, Quicklaunch, the lot.... But since setting Advance OS an LED, these have been deleted.

Awesome app and I'll highly recommend it to anyone

Once you try Advanced O&L you'll never need another LED app. I've used most of them and there is no better than AO&L!
It works more efficiently than the other ones with more options.
And should you have any problems, the developer is there to help.

Edit - This 'super app' isn't a hog on battery or memory either!

Add one more vote for Advance OS and LED.

If solely based on the LED notification factor, it is by far the best of the lot.

Throw in all the other functionality and it isnt even a race.

Add in the small footprint of the app, the cost (Free!) and the accessibility to the developer... wow!

It really does take the place of quite a few apps on my device.

Now if I could only get him to make one for my PlayBook.. haha
