Is there any way to get an app that could set permissions to certain programs to set which ones use portrait/landscape mode? I very seldom use landscape mode at all, especially for typing because I came from the Pearl. I would love to be able to lock my SMS/Email editor into portrait mode. At night I like to read news on Viigo and I don't want to have to hold the Storm above me or at awkward angles just so it doesn't rotate. Is this type of app possible??

Not possible unless RIM adds it. I don't think that will ever happen though.
