Did you buy them from the bb app world or cb app world?

Dl bb app world. Archive apps to micro sd. Move micro sd. Reinstall into new phone

Ok so you can just log in to the cb app store though your computer and click on change your pin, then it will update your apps with your new pin and you should get an email with new activation codes for the apps that require it...
Then send emails to all the developers and ask for a new registration key for your new PIN. That is one issue with app world. At least with the crackberry store you can update your PIN and get new codes instantly.
i did that when i replaced my first tour and never got new keys...
I don't get emails from the crackberry store. Once I change my PIN the new keys show up under My Account -> My Apps.
Not sure if it was always like this, but in the past month when I went through 4 BB's that is how it worked.
Some apps on app world don't have a key and you just log in and redownload them, the ones that do need a key you must email each developer individually.
Same here but i also got the emails..
This is very weird. I suggest u contact customer support .. good luck n keep us posted
So am I an ***** for buying bbalerts through handango? I had to contact the developer direct and tell him when I got new storm and new tour. This was when I was new to blackberrys that I did not buy here. How can crackberry assure developers their software will not be on duplicate devices when it is so easy to switch pin's?

Simple... Active software/generate key on new PIN, deactivate the old one. Pretty easy.
The activate part is easy as pie But how do they know its deactivated? Do all blackberry apps phone home via web to do this process and alert the devs?

So replaced my tour today. Build quality is amazingly different. Trackball is great on this one. Different texture to it and feels smmother when rolling. Works great now. I'm really liking this new tour. So now as for getting reg codes via the cb store. Didn't work. Emailed them to see what was up. I changed my pin but no dice. Good thing most of them have a trial.
