Are there any internet browsers that are better than the basic one that comes with our BB? Maybe that can look more like the real internet and display HTML and all?

Opera Mini browser, or Bolt browser.

    Bolt Browser

    Here are your options.

Bolt renders most like the view you see on a computer screen.

Opera Mini is a little faster, but doesn't render as cleanly.

I have uses for all three.

All the browsers other than the BB browser will display the pages in HTML like you see on your computer as long as you have your device configured correctly.

I downloaded Bolt--loving it so far!! Is there any way to make it the default browser?
Also, I frequently needed to clear my cache for the BB browser because it would store a lot of memory. Do we have to do that with Bolt, and if so, how?

They don't. Firefox is coming out with a browser for smartphones called Fennec but for the time being it is only for Windows Mobile and is far from finished. For the time being it seems the best option is the Opera mini/Bolt combo. Skyfire is coming along nicely and should supplement them both. This is going to be the hardest adjustment for me. I have fallen in love with the tabbed browsing of Opera Mobile, I will be sad to let it go.

I had Opera Mini but just recently switched to Bolt. It's a bit slower than Opera Mini but does a much better job with the websites. The BB Browser is best for apps pre-made for mobiles.
