I'm not sure about this. It may be a dumb question, but is there a way to install games onto the 9530 Storm by putting the installer on the memory card? I have my buddy's old Storm and use it as a media player. It has no network connection.

You can't run apps from the media card. You can try to load games via desktop managers app loader.

It doesn't connect to desktop manager. As soon as you plug it into the computer, it restarts.

You can download apps for your blackberry 9530 with computer and if you do not have internet on the blackberry 9530 phone then you can install it with the data cable. To install or download applications on blackberry 9530:
Install blackberry desktop manager.
Plug your BlackBerry back to your personal computer, then open up application loader.
Select Application, click ADD and you will have to click on the applications you downloaded to your computer. It will then transfer the application to the phone.
