Just found this out from BBForums. The program will be canceled soon and will not work anymore. The company got bought and they have decided to not continue with InfoSpace FindIT!

Heres more on the topic from the people who created the program.........

A great app, but luckily my TeleNav will do all that anyway.

Well that just sucks. I have TelNav as well but I really like the Findit app. It really comes in handy when my wife and I are strolling around Chinatown in the Bay area and we want to find something new.

Yeah I really liked it too. I forget what I had before that it replaced, so now I have to figure that out as well!

Too sad. I really like it too. Interface looks really good and better than Berry411. Guess Berry411 will be my main tool for that now.

Could always use Berry411 for the BB. It will allow you to search based on your GPS location as well.

Oh, I use InfoSpace all the time to find nearby restaurants, nail places, etc.

    I guess I'll have to use Berry411!

    Thanks for the heads up!

I'm giving the Tellme application a test run as a possible replacement. So far so good except that I can't save an address in my address book that way I could with InfoSpace.

That was the best part of FindIt.
