Can anyone tell me the advantages of this IM+ skype for BB? Seems that one would still be paying for telephone charges + skype out calls?

I use(d) it for cheap(er) international calls, but found that the delay it introduced was horrible..

You can save much on long distance calls, because airtime + skypeout or skype unlimited is cheap enough. But IMHO the main reason is: you can stay online and chat for free - many people like to stay online in Skype as ever
