So I'm on a trip and didn't want to pay for the international roaming from my company. I have an unlocked BB and I was able to use sim cards from France and now China. I gave up on the data services thinking nothing would work without BIS, and just yesterday I tried and the browser half-works. Of course, it will be slow and charged by KB. But my question is... will any of the messenger apps work with this? I was able to get working the BB browser, bolt, and gmail, but I couldn't get MSN or gtalk. Is it a lost battle? or is there something I can do to make them work?
