I am a current Windows Mobile user that desperately wants to go BB, but cannot and will not sacrifice my radio stream (I am a huge Ticket listener in Dallas, TX).

Is there an app, website, magical chant, etc. that will allow me to stream a .asx (Windows Media player compatible) audio stream to a 8330 (Sprint Curve)?

Let me know if you find anything because that is exactly what I'm looking for. I travel a lot a can't stand not being able to get the litte Ticket on my BB.

    I would recommend xPlayer:
    http://www.shapeservices.com/freedow...layer_beta.zip or over-the-air at http://wap.shapeservices.com/downloa...ta/xplayer.jad

But from the looks of this thread http://forums.crackberry.com/f35/xpl...testers-48323/ / I don't believe it is asx compatible and this would be the closest app to doing so

Isn't there a couple other "internet radio" type services out there? I can't remember it off the top of my head.

You can get the Ticket by going through Moodio. Go to "www.moodio.fm" (not .com) and register. You have to have OS 4.5 on your phone for it to work.

Well, your phone should come equiped with an XM radio option, but that costs to use.

They also have QuickPlayer for a monthly fee.

Radiobee is the only one that streams real radio that plays music and not talk shows

I suggest reading the tech responses in this thread: http://www.blackberryforums.com/medi...-asx-perl.html

Was this ever solved? I am looking for the same solution for my Torch 9800 and my Playbook.

    Thanks.
