Hey guys,

I just bought today here in the UK Storm 2 (9520). I was able to download and install facebook application properly, and can locate it in the 'applications folder'.

However, with Google Talk and MSN, I am able to 'install' it properly, but then I cannot locate it anywhere (I assume it should be in the applications folder)

Any ideas of where the apps may be, or what I'm doing wrong?

Have you checked the main screen as well as the downloads folder?

Also, check your applications list (options then applications) and make sure it shows up there.

Well good for you! Hope you enjoy it.
I do not know about the OS that shipped with you S2 but my 5.0.0.232 has a defined location for down loads. Try starting at your home screen>BBKey>Options and see if there is a "Set Download Folder" option. If so. go look there.

Yeh I just checked, only my 'Epocrates' app shows up in both cases. Not MSN or Google Talk. Facebook shows up in applications folder, not downloads.

I hate these new application folders. This causes a big headache for anyone doing tech support for blackberry customers. I wish there was a way to go to "all applications" to find/move icons around.

You can set a specific folder for your new downloads.

From the main screen, hit BB button, go to options, and you can specify which folder your new download icons are created where it says "SET DOWNLOAD FOLDER" and make sure you check SHOW ALL.

By the way, I'm running the original Storm on 5.0.0.191/.230 hybrid so this may be different for you.
