I work outdoors, and lately the humidity has been through the roof.
Ever since it rolled in early last week, my berry has been acting weird.

Its will mute the phone when I'm on it every 15 seconds. And when not on the phone, the 'enter' function seems to be used around the same interval.

I keep my phone in the 3 piece otterbox. But it is constantly on my hip.

I have never gotten it wet, or used it with wet hands.

And before I call Bell for a replacement, was wondering if anyone else had issues like this.

I haven't tried the bag of rice trick yet, just because I know I have no water in it.

The functionality of the phone is still 100%, its just those 2 quirks.

I have to keep the keypad locked and in my holster for proper functionality.

    Thanks in advance.

that can play a huge factor on it for sure just think if your feeling the humid weather so is the phone..i wouldnt do a replacment on it i work for warranty escalations desk for at&t and take calls about this stuff all day. even though your ldi (liquid damage indicator) may not be activated there is one inside as well as that could be and you'll get charged full retail price for the phone if it does have water damage

And I know I can't open it, because of the sticker covering a torx.

Maybe ill bring it to my local Bell World and pay them to open it.

They can help me out I'm sure.

Might cost me 30 or so, but might be worth it.

i live in a pretty humid area but it never seems to effect my phone.

also, my phone is a hand-me-down from my father who used the otterbox and kept the phone on his hip in an even more humid area (he lives right on the MS river) and he never had any problems either.
