    im on vaction is there anyway to update my face book to the 1.6 and does that let u see the notifactions and what not.

    Open facebook. Menu. Options. There is a link at the bottom that says check for upgrade.

    You will get notifications as long as u have the email addy associated with FB on your device.

    when i scroll down there is no check for updates button the last thing says prompt before refrshing friend list.?

    Just go to http:// mobile.blackberry.com. The facebook 1.6 link is on their home page.
