For some reason, Skype didn't get pushed to my Tour today. Not sure if it's because I'm using Sprint's 5.0 or whatever, but in any case if it didn't get pushed it's still easy enough to get. Just go to mobile.vzw.com on your browser and you should see the link right up top (if not, search for "Skype" in the search box on the page). Click on that and it'll send you to a download link. Have fun!

Just do a battery pull and it will bring it in. That's what I have had my friends do and it worked for them.

This will work ONLY on Verizon. You can install it on a device running on a different network, but you will not be able to login to the app.

Also it actually uses minutes but Verizon credits them back. Like many others have said its not true VoIP, but will be good enough for those on the VZW network for now since skype to skype is technically free to them.
