My contacts are in Google Mail, how do I keep it synced with my device? Does this have to be done through the desktop manager? I am on a mac also, if that matters.

The syncing of gmail contacts is one of the new features of BIS 2.8. Even though it was said to have been done the other morning, I don't see an option for it yet.

I believe you need OS 5.0 for that to happen, and VZW may need to push out some service books on top of that.

VZW doesn't push service books...RIM does...

service books and host routing table are defined by feature codes on your account. RIM verifies feature codes, then enables/disables service books as needed.

just throwing that out there for you guys
