I saw that someone had Perezhilton.com's website icon on their screen. Can someone tell me how to get a website to show up on my screen so all I have to do is click it to go to that page, rather than going into the Browser? (i am new at this!) Thanks!

Those are launchers to the site. You can't just put a link onto your home screen but you can download one of the launchers.
