As above really i have done a search but not found an answer to my question.

when i got to my BB app world > my world - i have uninstalled apps there. is it possible to delete these as i keep getting prompt about an update for one and its drving me mad.

If you're using the older version of App World, open My World and press Alt + R S T (keep your finger on Alt and press R then S then T in turn)

This will close App World, clear the cache, and update your app list status.

Not sure if this still works on the newer version of App World though, as I don't use it anymore.

The ALT+RST combo doesn't work for clearing out uninstalled Apps in the new App World. As far as I know, there is no way to delete them.

On my 9700's, it still clears the cache and updates apps list, but shows every app that I have ever uninstalled from App World in the Uninstalled section of My World.

i havnt installed anything so i dunno....well its blackberry id now so it is not stored on ur blackberry...the uninstalled apps are online....jus make a new blackberry id then

I had the same ish, then I had a prompt that there's an upgrade for bb app world, so I clicked it. Then when I came accross my app world, the uninstalled apps are no longer there!

And if it isn't clearing it in the new app world, just minimize the uninstalled app section.

Hit the (-) uninstalled button , they all hide!

I know its not a fix, but better than seeing 35 uninstalled apps in a list!

thanks buddy i just did this but it only removed one (drive safe.ly) bebuzz is still there. and the enable drivesafe option is still on my menu

well i just restarted my phone ( ALT + SHIFT + DELETE ) and its now removed drive safe.ly from my menu, but i still got BEBUZZ in my app world. :s

In "My World" screen, press the BB button, click "Show Keyboard". I do this in the reduced (SureType) keyboard format btw. Press and hold "!?123" (1 button), and press "1", "?" and "2" in sequence. App World will freeze for awhile before it shuts down.
