options>advanced options>Applications> after it builds a list select facebook then the menu button and delete it. It will ask for a reboot select yes or it wont delete till you reboot it.

Stay in "Applications", then hit menu, modules. See if it's listed there, then Menu, Delete.

Is the face book icon still on your BB. You can go to DM and select the application loader icon, it will bring up the application loader wizard (make sure your BB is connected) it will bring up a list of applications find facebook and check the box next to it and finish the wizard. That should remove it.

FYI it doesn't show up in applications on the device on DM because it only has the service book on the phone.

Did you try it in Applications?
Maybe resend service books and try it.
    Or a simple battery pull.

    Yay!!
I finally found the answer. It was in the service books but its not blatantly labeled "Facebook"
It's labeled BC Preload...etc and the facebook part was partially cut off. Finally no more facebook. So the steps work I just needed to pay more attention to the list.

Once you go to the service books list look for BC_Virtual_Preload_Facebook.
Use the menu button and delete it.
