Hello crackberry addicts! I'm totally new to this and having a problem I can't seem to find the answer to anywhere.

My opera mini app is not completely frozen but I cannot close it from within the program. When in opera mini it will let me enter a web address and go to it, but it will not let me scroll over to the exit button to close the app.

Is there a magical way to close an app from the menu of what's running?

Does my question make any sense?

A battery pull should resolve the problem.

Well I pulled the battery out while it was still on and that worked.

Any other way to make a pesky app close?

I've pondered the same thing when that has happened to me with Opera, so far only doing a bp has worked and/or is the only option.

Hold down the back button. The button next to the end call button. That should close the app.

No, back (esc) does not close a crashed opera mini5. In fact, holding esc hardly closes any newly developed apps at all these days.

    Battery pull solves it.

Sadly 99% of problems you run into on your BB can be solved with a simple and effective battery pull. It gets annoying at first, but eventually you're happy that its a simple solution.

Unfortunitally RIM doesn't include any "force quit" so all you can do is pull the battery.

I got rid of Opera Mini from my Bold as it was making my phone go mental.
I had java errors all the time, as well as issues with Opera itself.

    All is good again.
