is there an app available that can put the outside temperature on the main screen, just like the time.

That would be neat....well if it was accurate. All the weather apps i have ever tried have never been accurate for my area.

I think there is an app like WeatherBug or something which has an icon that reflects the "current" temperature. Just make the app one of the icons that appears on the homescreen. However, like bettyn100 said, the accuracy may vary.

WeatherEye is great but as service of The Weather Network (Canadian), there are limited US locations. I have WeatherBug and it's perfect for me. I set up the portal to have two icons, temperature updated every 30 minutes, and another for forecast and (when you roll over it) max/min temps expected. The link is above.

I use the Accuweather pushmark service. It's free, and from what I've seen it's pretty accurate. Go to www.mobile.blackberry.com and follow the links there to set it up.

If you follow the link in post above yours, you should be able to download Weathereye and Weatherbug.

I use BBWeather, it may not show it on the screen but I think it takes up alot less memory than the other applications. It's worth a try and a few extra clicks
